About People & Profiles
This is the shelf for pages about someone rather than something. A founder story, a personal homepage, a body of work laid out for clients, a single page of links: if a named human is the point, it fits here. Speed is the brief, so the category is built to put a profile in front of visitors quickly and let them size it up at a glance.
Each listing sits in one main category, picked at submission and included free. Open /submit, drop in your site's URL and an AI drafts the profile. You read it, fix what is off and publish only when it is right. A paid launch costs $5, while a free listing waits in a queue of about 6-8 weeks. Filters narrow the page across all four subcategories.

People & Profiles: questions answered
- What belongs in People & Profiles?
- Pages where an individual is the subject: a founder's story, a personal homepage, a showcase of someone's work, or a single hub of links. If the page mainly sells a tool or a service, it belongs in the category that matches what it sells.
- How do I pick between Portfolios and Personal websites?
- Choose Portfolios when the site exists to show finished work to hirers or clients. Choose Personal websites when it covers the whole person: writing, projects, bio, contact. If your site does both jobs, pick the one visitors will care about first.
- Can a listing appear in more than one place?
- Every listing has one main category, included free, so choose the closest fit. If you want to appear in further categories, the extra-categories upgrade costs $5 and widens where people can find you.
- How are listings ordered here?
- Newest listings come first by default, so a fresh launch gets seen straight away. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes instead. Nobody can pay for votes, so that order reflects what people actually liked.
- How do I get a profile listed?
- Go to /submit and give us your site's URL. An AI drafts the profile from that site, then you review every field, edit anything that is wrong and approve it. Nothing goes live until you have signed it off.
