How do I get on the billboard?
The billboard is a paid leaderboard ranked by contributions. Add funds to your live listing to join.
Updated
The billboard is a separate leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard where listings rank by money contributed, not votes. It's labelled as paid ranking—your community score stays exactly where it is.
Set your contribution
You pick the amount in US dollars. Minimum is $5. Each contribution stacks on top of what you've already put in, so your listing climbs as you add more. Everyone who's contributed stays ranked.
Go live first
To add it from your account, your listing must be live. Sign in, head to /account/listings, pick "Upgrades and extras" next to your listing and enter your amount under Billboard. You can also add it during submit, at the plan step.
Keep your votes safe
The billboard is its own thing. It doesn't touch community votes, Launch of the Week, verification badges or Domain Rating—each system is clearly labelled. Promo codes don't cut your billboard contribution either.
Ship your listing live, then decide how visible you want to be on the paid board.
A followed link to your website, for life
Every company on the billboard is linked from /leaderboards/billboard to its own website, with the company name as the link text. The link is followed (no nofollow). It stays for life, also when newer contributors move ahead of you. It is removed only if the listing is taken down for breaking our rules, or if the contribution is refunded.
Questions people ask
- Does the billboard affect my votes or rankings?
- No. The billboard is separate from all other rankings. Your community votes, Launch of the Week, verification and Domain Rating stay independent and are each labelled.
- Can I add more money to the billboard later?
- Yes. Each new contribution adds to your total and bumps your rank higher on the board.
- When does my listing appear on the billboard?
- To add it from your account, your listing must be live. Then contribute via /account/listings or during submit, and it ranks by your total contributed.
- Will the billboard link to my website?
- Yes. Every contributor gets a followed link to its website from the full board, for life. A take-down for breaking the rules or a refund is the only exception.
